Triple 4 Original Equipment sherardized wheel nut to fit Land Rover Series 2 & 2A models up to Suffix G Only. There are 2 types of single taper wheel nut for the Series 2 & 2A up to Suffix G, both have the same thread, but use different socket sizes, this is the smaller of the 2 and uses a 15/16" / 24mm Socket.

What is sherardizing?

In a nutshell, sherardizing is superior to all other anti-corrosion coatings. We've all been there, fit a nice new set of standard steel wheel nuts and they've started to rust within a few weeks. Sherardized wheel nuts will stay rust free for years. Sherardisizing is the hardest and longest lasting of all zinc coatings, it can withstand a lot of abuse, has a uniform coverage and is applied at a relatively low temperature which avoids the parts loosing any mechanical properties.
