Triple 4 original equipment complete suspension bush & bolt kit to fit all Land Rover Defender 90 110 and 130 from 2002 to 2009 (from chassis number 2A626646 up to chassis number 9A768936). 

This is the fast road version of this kit and is recommended for fast road applications and also for heavily loaded vehicles due to the extra steel insert in the front radius arm bushes.

This kit comes with High Tensile OEM Grade 10.9 Bolts and Nyloc Nuts. These are convenional hex head bolts, which we offer as a more cost effective alternative to our OEM flange bolt kits. Flange bolts were fitted to these vehicles as standard from the factory.

Triple 4 metalastic rubber bushes are tough and durable, whilst still allowing the suspension to flex. They offer a firm, yet supple ride. They're not fancy, they don't look glitzy, they just do the job superbly. 

Metalastic rubber bushes are the go to bush for any serious 4WD owner. Whatever the application, from road car, greenlaner, weekend toy, overlander, even competition vehicles. A  proper set of original equipment spec metalastic bushes take some beating.

Most people like to follow the trend of fitting expensive and not so expensive polyurethane bushes. We have tried all the major brands of polyurethane bushes, experienced them first hand, on every type of terrain, and in our opinion, they just don't make the grade. The 4 main issues been ride quality, splitting, tearing and premature wear. Yes, polyurethane bushes do have a place in some applications. But for us, on a Defender / Disco 1 / Range Rover Classic chassis, rubber wins every time.  

This is the fast road version of this kit and differs from our off road kit. The front radius arm to axle bushes have an extra steel insert sandwiched in the bush and the radius arm to chassis bushes have a smooth inside wall. This reduces the flexibility in the bush resulting in a stiffer front end, giving a firmer ride and less body roll at the expense of a slight decrease in axle articulation.

Attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do and our bolt kits are no exception. 

This kit uses superior Grade 10.9 high tensile grade 10.9 bolts and Grade 10 nyloc nuts*. The nyloc nuts used in this kit are of the shallower type which gives you much better access to get a spanner in, in the tight confines of space around the radius arms, diff and anti roll bar links. 

The 6 rear radius arm chassis bush bolts & nuts in this kit are the flange type. These feature integral washers and the hex heads are smaller than a standard bolts / nuts, making it so much easier to get a socket on in the tight confines of the chassis bracket.
 
Rather than the common standard bright zinc plate (BZP) finish found on most fasteners, the bolts and nuts in our kit come in a far superior zinc flake finish* which offers much higher corrosion resistance and longevity than BZP.

* Please note the rear A-frame to chassis bolts in this kit are OEM high tensile imperial bolts and nyloc nuts and are a standard BZP finish as these are unavailable in a zinc flake finish.

All Triple 4 bolt kits are made to original equipment specification and come with the correct grade of high tensile bolts and nuts for each application. All our bolt kits meet the relevant IS0, DIN and BS standards.

IMPORTANT!

Our suspension bushes are designed to be used on vehicles with original suspension geometry .i.e. standard ride height. Please ensure that the vehicle is sat on it's wheels with the full weight of the vehicle acting on the suspension BEFORE torquing up the suspension bolts to the correct torque. Tightening up the suspension bolts without the full weight of the vehicle acting on it is the number one cause of the premature failure of suspension bushes. Our suspension bushes are pretty tough, but please ensure that suspension bushes are kept free of any chemicals and fluids that affect rubber, such as engine & transmission oils, fuels and harsh vehicle cleaning products such caustic traffic film removers etc.
