Triple 4 original equipment rear radius arm (axle end) bush & flange bolt kit to fit all Land Rover Defender 90 110 and 130 models from 1983 to 2016. 

This kit fits the rear radius arm where it bolts to the axle.

Triple 4 metalastic rubber bushes are tough and durable, whilst still allowing the suspension to flex. They offer a firm, yet supple ride. Metalastic rubber bushes are the go to bush for any serious 4WD owner. Whatever the application, from road car, greenlaner, weekend toy, overlander, even competition vehicles. A proper set of original equipment spec metalastic bushes take some beating.

Most people like to follow the trend of fitting expensive and not so expensive polyurethane bushes. We have tried all the major brands of polyurethane bushes, experienced them first hand, on every type of terrain, and in our opinion, they just don't make the grade. The 4 main issues been ride quality, splitting, tearing and premature wear. Yes, polyurethane bushes do have a place in some applications. But for us, on a Defender / Disco 1 / Range Rover Classic chassis, rubber wins every time.  

Attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do and our bush & bolt kits are no exception.

This kit uses superior Grade 10.9 high tensile flange bolts with Grade 10 all metal locking nuts for the axle bolts and Grade 10 nyloc nuts for the chassis end. Metal locking flange nuts are far better at withstanding harsh vibration and heat than nyloc nuts found in our standard suspension bolt kits, and the integral flanges on both the bolts and nuts offer a more even clamping force than a standard bolt and nut combination.

The nuts used in this kit are of the shallower type which gives you much better access to get a spanner or socket on the nut head, in the tight confines of space around the radius arms, diff and anti roll bar links.

Rather than the common standard bright zinc plate (BZP) finish found in other suspension bolt kits, Triple 4 suspension bolt kits come in a far superior zinc flake finish which offers much higher corrosion resistance and longevity than BZP.

All Triple 4 bolt kits are made to OEM standards and come with the correct grade of high tensile bolts and nuts for each application. All our bolt kits meet the relevant IS0, DIN and BS standards.

IMPORTANT!

Our suspension bushes are designed to be used on vehicles with original suspension geometry .i.e. standard ride height. Please ensure that the vehicle is sat on it's wheels with the full weight of the vehicle acting on the suspension BEFORE torquing up the suspension bolts to the correct torque. Tightening up the suspension bolts without the full weight of the vehicle acting on it is the number one cause of the premature failure of suspension bushes. Our suspension bushes are pretty tough, but please ensure that suspension bushes are kept free of any chemicals and fluids that affect rubber, such as engine & transmission oils, fuels and harsh vehicle cleaning products such caustic traffic film removers etc.
